Terms & Conditions
Plain English Summary
This summary highlights the key points of your hire. It does not replace the full Terms & Conditions, which remain legally binding.
To hire the vehicle, you must meet our insurance criteria and only approved drivers listed on the agreement may drive. During the hire period, the vehicle and all equipment are your responsibility. This includes any damage, loss, fines, fuel, or returning the vehicle in a reasonable condition. A refundable security deposit is taken prior to collection and may be used to cover the insurance excess, damage, penalties, excessive cleaning, missing fuel, or late return charges.
The vehicle is comprehensively insured, subject to an excess per claim. Insurance does not cover reckless or negligent use, including driving on beaches, through flood water, or misuse of the roof tent and equipment. While we may suggest route ideas, it is your responsibility to ensure any overnight parking or camping complies with local laws and land access regulations.
Breakdown cover is included for peace of mind. We will always assist where reasonably possible, though we cannot accept responsibility for travel disruption or associated costs.
In essence: drive responsibly, respect the places you visit, and return the vehicle ready for the next adventure.
